2022 - Favorite Landscape and Nature Photos
While photographic opportunities were somewhat limited during the COVID years of 2020 and 2021, things improved considerably during 2022 as reflected in this gallery. In addition to my usual photographic stomping grounds around El Paso, Texas and southern New Mexico, there was more time spent this year in places like Arizona, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. Likewise, this gallery also reflects a growing number of photos related to wildlife and storms as they have both become subjects of greater interest for me. Another element that is new for 2022 is that I have added a drone to my gear collection, so you may notice a few images here that have been taken from an elevated perspective that the drone provides.
Although the number of images in this year’s gallery of favorites is a bit more than normal, I had a hard time keeping the number down, and I think a few extra images never hurt anyone. I hope visitors to this gallery enjoy seeing these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
If you're seeing this on a large-screen monitor, then I suggest clicking the black arrow icon to see the images in slideshow mode.
